Football

Football comes down to one or two goals.

Every scoreline gets a chance, and every market comes from that one picture.

  1. Every scoreline priced

A 1–0 and a 4–3 are different matches. The score grid prices each one.

  2. Who is actually fit

Injury reports and team news, then a projected XI of who starts.

  3. Form that means something

Results read with the play behind them, so luck is not scored as quality.

  4. When the goals come

When each side tends to score and concede, half by half.

  5. Tactics and territory

Who holds the ball, who presses, and where the match will be played.

  6. Rest, travel and the calendar

Three matches in seven days or a long trip, priced in, not guessed.

Nothing hidden. Every number shows its working.

See what was read, which findings moved the chance and by how much.

How every number is made

  1. Research the match

Thirteen passes, one question each: injuries, form, tactics, schedule, conditions, officials.

  2. Weigh every source

A finding counts only as much as its sources earn. A stale or late source scores zero.

  3. Cap every finding

No finding can move the number far, and a weakly sourced one moves it less.

  4. Price every outcome

The findings become one chance per result, adding up to exactly 100%.

  5. Then check the price

Only now does the price come in. Where our chance beats it, you see the gap.

What stands behind it

Built by engineers and AI agents. Every figure here is read from the code.

54 instruments draw each sport the way its fans read it. Prices are checked against 72 bookmakers. More than 7,000 automated tests run before every release.

Four rules every run follows

Whole, or refunded

A failed pass is retried deeper. A run that still cannot finish is never published, and your credit comes back.

The price stays out of it

No research pass sees the bookmaker’s odds, so our chance cannot copy theirs.

Refreshed before kick-off

Re-run four times before the start, at no cost to you.

At 72 hours, 24 hours, 6 hours and 75 minutes before the start.
Nothing hidden

Every finding shows what it did to the number and links to what it read.

Four places to ask. One shows the working.

One question, put to each: Aston Villa v Brentford. Example data.

How much work goes into the answer?

13 research agents read the match, often for over an hour.

13 findings from 512 pages read, 28 cited
  • Agent 1 Availability+1.3%from 2 findings
Two of Brentford’s midfield three are missing

One is suspended after his fifth booking and one is out with a hamstring strain confirmed by the club. The likely replacements have started four league games between them this season.

    86% confidence
  • Agent 2 Form & underlying play+1.0%from 2 findings
Aston Villa have created more than they have scored

Over their last eight league matches Aston Villa’s expected goals run ahead of their actual goals by more than two. A side finishing below its chances tends to drift back up, not further down.

    80% confidence
  • Agent 3 Tactics & style+0.5%from 2 findings
Aston Villa’s wide overloads hit Brentford’s weakest zone

Brentford concede a larger share of their chances from crosses and cut-backs than any other zone. Aston Villa create the most of theirs from exactly there.

    78% confidence
  • Agent 4 Matchup history+0.2%from 1 finding
Aston Villa’s home meetings have been low-scoring wins

The recent meetings at Aston Villa’s ground have mostly been decided by one goal. The sample is small and spans two coaching changes, so it moves the number only a little.

    62% confidence
  • Agent 5 Historical comparables+0.5%from 1 finding
Weakened visiting midfields concede more territory

In a ten-season sample, visitors missing two regular central midfielders gave up noticeably more final-third entries. The pattern holds in both halves of the sample.

    72% confidence
  • Agent 6 Rest, load & travel−0.4%from 1 finding
Aston Villa’s starters carry the heavier recent load

More of Aston Villa’s likely starters have played the full ninety in each of their last three matches. The effect of load is real but modest in the Premier League sample, and it is applied as one.

    80% confidence
  • Agent 7 Weather & venueno change
Nothing in the weather or the pitch moves this

A dry evening with light wind and a good surface. The pass looked and found nothing, which is a result rather than an absence of one.

    70% confidence
  • Agent 8 Stakes & incentives+0.2%from 1 finding
Aston Villa have the more pressing league target

Early in the season, a home win keeps Aston Villa with the pace for the European places. Needing a result is not the same as being able to get one, so this is weighted lightly.

    66% confidence
  • Agent 9 Officiating & discipline+0.1%from 2 findings
An Brentford centre-back is one booking from a ban

A defender on the edge of a suspension tends to commit less in duels. It is a small effect and is applied as one.

    60% confidence
  • Agent 10 Public information environmentno change
The club confirmed the absences itself

The news came from Brentford’s own channels before any reporter had it, so there is no doubt about the source. The absence itself is counted once, under availability.

    84% confidence
  • Agent 11 Reporting consensusno change
    Confirmed by three independent outlets

The club, the local paper and a national outlet each reported the absences from their own sources. Independent confirmation raises how far the claim is trusted.

    82% confidence
  • Agent 12 Universal-pattern hypothesesno change
A popular streak claim, written up and given no weight

A widely shared claim about this fixture’s record on Saturdays was written as a precise rule for the registry to test. Until it survives a holdout, it moves nothing.

    50% confidence
  • Agent 13 Adversarial review−0.4%from 2 findings
Untested is not the same as weak

The replacement midfielders have few starts, but their underlying numbers in those starts are close to the regulars’. The availability claim is real and slightly smaller than it first looked.

What people ask before they start.

Still unsure? A person answers every email.

[email protected]

No. It holds no bookmaker account and never moves your money. Recording a bet as real only adds it to your own ledger.

A bet you record at the price you were shown, with a stake you choose and no money involved. It is graded by the result like any other. Watching records the call with no stake at all.

You upload a screenshot of a bet. BAI8 reads each leg and prices the whole bet, including legs that depend on each other. A leg it cannot read is marked unread, never guessed.

From the research, never from the bookmaker. An assessment builds each chance from the match’s own evidence, and every finding is capped and weighted by how credible its sources are. Only then is the price brought in to compare. Before an assessment, there is no number.

As long as the match needs, often more than an hour. Thirteen research passes read the match, and every source they find is graded for credibility and weighted by it. If a run cannot finish, the credit is refunded.

One assessment of one match. Opening one somebody else has already run costs a credit too, and re-reading one you hold is free. A new account gets five credits to try BAI8, valid for ten days. Every plan includes credits, and packs bought on their own never expire.

BAI8 compares prices at more than seventy bookmakers, each matched to the countries that license it, and shows them in your odds format, your currency and one of six languages. Use BAI8 only where betting is legal for you.

Your edge is the gap between our chance of a result and the chance the price implies. A positive edge is an estimate, not a promise. 18+, bet lawfully where you are. Betting loses money for most people who do it.
